| Interesses de Investigação |
| A investigação que realizo analisa o desenvolvimento sócio-cognitivo. Em particular, interesso-me no desenvolvimento precoce das identidades e atitudes intergrupais nas crianças. Os meus estudos mais recentes analisaram: como e quando o preconceito nas crianças é influenciado pela self-presentation; como o contacto intergrupal pode reduzir o preconceito na infância; as bases cognitivas e sociais das avaliações feitas pelas crianças dos pares dentro de contextos intergrupais (o desenvolvimento de dinâmicas de grupo subjectivas); identificação étnica e aculturação entre minorias étnicas e a maioria das crianças. |
